Please note that this policy does not cover how our customers may treat your information, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites we link to. 

2. Information We Collect

CheerVision only collects necessary user information for improving services and communication purposes. Information can either be provided by the user or collected automatically while interacting with CheerVision.


We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us while using the Services. The information we collect includes information relating to identified or identifiable natural persons. The categories of information we collect, including in the last 12 months, contain the following:

  1. Account information (e.g. display name, first name, last name, email, phone number) is required to operate the service and allow you to log in and perform security checks. If you register using and OAuth provider (Github or Google) the display name and email are imported.

  2. Billing information (e.g. company name, address) is only collected at your initiative to provide invoices addressed to you.

  3. Financial information (e.g. credit card number, account number, etc.) is not collected by us, they go directly to the payment services provider (Coinbase Commerce, Paypal, or Stripe) when you make a purchase.

  4. Message exchanges (e.g. emails, live chat content) The content of the messages you send to us by any means is collected and stored for reference in future communications, to perform security checks, but also to be used by the support to investigate issues or by the team to enhance the service.

You may choose to voluntarily submit other information to us through the Services that we do not request, and, in such instances, you are solely responsible for such information.


We automatically collect information about your device and how your device interacts with our Services. The categories of information we automatically collect, including in the last 12 months, and the methods by which we may collect such information include the following:

Location Data

CheerVision may also request access to or otherwise receive information about your device location when you access the Services. Your location data may be based on your IP address and other location-aware technologies. We use location data in connection with providing the Services and to help improve the Services.

Log File Information

Your Web browser automatically sends information to every website you visit, including ours. For example, our server logs may receive and record information such as the pages you access on the Services, referring URLs, your browser type, your operating system, the date and time of your visit, and the duration of your visit to each page.

User Agent Strings

Log file information may also include a user agent string, a series of characters automatically sent with your network requests that provide information necessary for smooth Internet communications, such as the operating system and browser you used. A user agent string might be used to identify the device originating a message.

Information Collected through the API

CheerVision offers an API available to its customers via Where an CheerVision customer uses the API, CheerVision collects IP addresses and other information (e.g. HTTP headers, User-Agent) provided via on behalf of the customer, and logs such information only for the purposes of monitoring, alerting, and internal reporting for the specific customer for up to 12 months. CheerVision does not share information collected through among customers.

Information Received from Other Sources

CheerVision receives information about you from other sources. We may combine the information we receive from third parties with information we collect through the Services. If we do so, CheerVision will treat the combined information in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, plus any additional restrictions imposed by the source of the data. CheerVision uses information such as your name, phone number, email address, billing information, or other contact information to provide and improve our services. These services include cheerleading competitions, event planning, and other related services.

CheerVision maintains contact lists to communicate with individuals who have expressed interest in our services. We may contact you to confirm purchases, respond to requests, notify you of changes to your account, or for marketing purposes.

CheerVision uses information collected for website administration and customization.
